Happy new year, everyone! The year of RETURN TO MONKEY ISLAND is behind us. Can you believe it? Just like that. The frenzied excitement but a quaint memory.

Still, there’s plenty to look forward to this year. If LRG’s releases carry on at the rate they are then we’ll all be destitute by summer, and the new Indiana Jones game may actually turn out great given the development studio working on it. Their previous games even involved killing Nazis!

Personally, I’m still hanging on for that physical ReMI release. I’ve cleared the other half of my wardrobe for it, just in case it matches the size of Monkey Island Anthology. Or maybe I’ll just buy 10 if it doesn’t.

Limited Run’s Unlimited Selection

It doesn’t stop, does it? While Loom has its fans, Limited Run really is doubling down on a niche of a niche market this time around.

$75 isn’t bad, though if I were a glass-half-empty kind of guy, I’d say that’s about $1 per minute of gameplay. Still, lots of fun extras, and with a bit of luck, the EGA version will be bundled. Breaking! Mojo can exclusively confirm the EGA version will be bundled.

And The Devil’s Playhouse, Too!

Not to be left behind, Skunkape has officially announced The Devil’s Playhouse remaster. Nothing surprising there, and we can, with some certainty, presume an LRG version will be waiting in the wings, too.
