Issue #37: LRG Goes Low With a High
Just when you thought you were out they pull you back in with a new bundle.
A late (and short) newsletter today because Chairman Thrik forced an unprecedented amount of overtime on us. “More with less” is Mojo’s new slogan as the editor is desperately trying to save up for a Return to Monkey Island “fan bundle.”
We’re talking all five LRG Return to Monkey Island releases, yours to have for a cool $420. Four hundred and twenty. Four-twenty. This is right up there with elTee’s infamous 2008 Bicycle Day post. Except not amusing. But, hey, if you want all those gold keys, I’m sure it’s a good deal. I get the feeling most of us will stick to the lowly $89 options.
For those who prefer to kick it old school, DREAMM 2.0 has hit public beta. GRiME support is one of the large additions, and the app now runs on Macs. Seriously!
Last and least is our Monkey Island 2 Code Grid, which is just that: The old code wheel in an interactive grid format. Better than those lame virtual wheels for those who want to boot up an Amiga emulator. (DREAMM does, of course, bypass the copy protection altogether.)
