Issue #41: PROPER MOJO
Is there such a thing as IMPROPER MOJO? Of course there is! The last month without posting has been just that: Improper Mojo.
Look, times are rough for all of us. Cost-cutting, a looming recession, Thrik’s new fleet of cars… Something had to give, and with Mojo currently working on multiple new features, The Adventurer had to step aside for a minute.
But enough excuses—here’s what’s going on in Mojo Land.
Mojole Goes Xtreme
The first fruit of the CEO’s process-efficiency program is the next phase of the internet’s favorite game: Mojole. After a year and change, we have upped the difficulty by making the solution six letters. Can you challenge the current Mojole champ, Huz? Give the game a try, and sound off in the forums!
Stay tuned for more: Mojo is rounding out its 25th year with style and grace, and some special features are “coming soon.”
Oh So Quiet
The rest of the world seems to have taken a break over the last month, too, sans some updates here and there.
Conversations With Curtis, for example. You know, the one where Curtis has conversations, often with LECers of yore. Gary Winnick, for one, and also Graham Annable.
In other news, Star Wars games are still made; seasons of Willow are not. Non-LRG boxes of Return to Monkey Island are (or will be) available. Jason illustrated the working conditions at Mojo Towers.
Look, give me a break—which is more than the CEO does. More truly is to come, and we’re cautiously optimistic Substack Notes could be a funsies replacement for Twitter. (All respect to Mastodon… It just isn’t very fun.) Remember: Mojo Loves You.
(Also, why even write anything when Substack AI can create intriguing imagery like this for us? Topic: “LeChuck dancing with Guybrush.”)
