Issue #46: Grog! Grog! Grog! Indy!
After a week-long nap, we’re back and <del>everything</del> <ins>very little</ins> has changed.
I’d be lying if I said things are booming here in the Mojo Qorld right now—Albu is on his second conversation with Aaron Giles—but at least Jason can get his Indy on for a bit longer. Not only is Dial of Destiny showing off some new clips, but the older movies are also hitting Disney+. Hell, there might even be a game coming, maybe.
Hopefully, Jason won’t be hurt the way Willow almost crushed him.
Elsewhere, A Vampyre Story has made a glorious return to Steam. Granted, reports claim it doesn’t work, but at least you can say you own it should you choose to buy it.
What does work, and better than ever, is the NES version of Maniac Mansion. Jennifer returned from the dead just long enough to report on some unlikely updates.
Anything else? Steve Purcell released a piece of awesome May 4th Sam & Max art. And Ron partook in another fireside chat that I need to watch.
That’s it as far as news goes. But! For fun, let’s check out some Secret of Monkey Island trivia videos. Sure, you know all of their content, but let’s reminisce about how Guybrush can drown…
… and how you can spill grog all over the place:
Not a bad game that Monkey Island 1.
