Issue #84: The Winter of Our Content
Duke! Wally! Escape! And stuff.
Look, don’t get used to this. That we’re ending the year on a barrage of content, that’s more or less a once-in-a-lifetime thing. But, in this year of our lord, 2025, content is what we bring: A chat with Cateia Games and Bill Tiller; a new Monkey Island-centric ICYMI article; a deceivingly in-depth feature on Wally’s fate in LeChuck’s Revenge… and more is coming soon. Very soon.
For now, let’s have a quick look at what we’ve got thus far.
First, Cateia Games and Bill Tiller chatted with us about the surprise Duke Grabowski revival. For fans of Autumn Moon’s short Ghost Pirate of Vooju Island prequel, there should be plenty of things to look forward to – higher-resolution backgrounds, console and mobile support, and some news of a potential Vooju sequel. It’s all in there. Even a tidbit about A Vampyre Story 2: A Bat’s Tale, too, which seems likely to see a (Halloween?) 2027 release. Read the whole interview at Mojo Proper.
I call this “deceivingly” in-depth because, while it might initially read like another one of Jason’s angry manifestos, it does examine “hidden” assets, and features some reconstructed scenes.
Sure, the normies won’t see the big deal, but you will. Go read the damn thing – I didn’t make that animation just out of the goodness of my heart. (Have a look at the comments, too, where Dave Grossman (probably) has the last word on the matter (maybe).)
