I haven’t seen the community buzzing quite like this for some time. The reality of an upcoming Monkey Island game has left our forum and Twitter feed positively heaving, with everyone keen to share their thoughts on how the game looks, its place in the series’ chronology, and whether or not Guybrush would suit a
dressmullet. And while most people are busy focusing on the future, Benny and elTee have been seeing if they can get Monkey Island 2 to look good on a 40-year-old graphics card. Exciting times, indeed.

LeChuck's Revenge Is The New Black (& White)
Either we're scraping the bottom of the barrel, or we're ahead of our time. Either way, Benny and elTee took on an eight-year-old mystery based on an innocent Tweet from Dave Grossman, suggesting there's a monochrome mode of LeChuck's Revenge. Did they succeed? That's up for interpretation, but judge for yourself.
As an apropos, Serge -- you know him from SCUMM Revisited and other fine tools -- once upon a time created "SCUMM Colorizer," which lets you change the colors in some SCUMM games. Give it a look over at LEC Quick & Easy.
Herman Toothrot Makes His Grand Entrance
Or so we can assume -- we have yet to actually see him. Regardless, Ronzo took to Twitter to announce the return of the fan favorite. How will they deal with the... controversial... HT Marley reveal? "He's back to being just an old crank," said Ronzo in a follow-up tweet. Take from that what you will.
We Re-Release A Bunch of Interviews
Granted, they were nabbed from gone-but-not-forgotten iMuse Island, but as we haven't been able to re-host that site, we at least brought their interviews back. Go read!
Poll of The Week
We asked: "Special edition shoot-out! Which one was the better edition? (That is best remaster, not best original game.)" LeChuck's Revenge took it home with 87.5%; The Secret of Monkey Island clocked in at 12.5%. Read people's opinions, and follow us on Twitter for a new poll next week.

Grog! Grog! Grog!
Mojo's resident mixologist once again raids his liquor cabinet to make a rum punch:
1 cup fresh lime juice
2 cups grenadine syrup
2 cups Jamaican white rum
1 cup light rum
2 cups fresh pineapple juice
2 cups fresh orange juice
Pinch freshly grated nutmeg, optional
Orange slices, for garnish
Pineapple slices, for garnish
Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher or punch bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with orange or pineapple slices.
