I’m back! I know last week’s newsletter was probably barely tolerable without me, but I hope Remi and elTee were able to keep you entertained. I was busy getting burnt to a crisp while mosquitoes feasted upon my every surface.
To celebrate my return I decided to finally get Monkey Island 2 polished off so that I have a clear plate for Return to Monkey Island, which comes out in THREE DAYS, EVERYBODY! THREE DAYS!
I can honestly say that Monkey Island 2 is a good game. I’d forgotten many of its finer points, including how darkly hilarious LeChuck is, and frankly I was hitting the hint key every few minutes. But I had a great time and am positively salivating for the continuation that Return will provide.
Sadly the remainder of the series will have to wait. How far did you get with your pre-Return replays? Let us know in the ramp-up thread.

elTee and Marius sat down for a 90-minute chat with Ron and Dave, and a lot of information was spilled. It is light on spoilers, though the second page contains one minor piece of news.
That aside, I don't even know. There's really nothing left to tease. At this point, it's just a case of holding out for three more days.

Grog! Grog! Grog!
elTee is busy warming up his Switch (and trying to resuscitate his laptop), but he has these suggestions for Monday: Root beer and/or proper grog (rum and lime juice, along with a splash of water). Eat some vichyssoise or, if you're not quite as ambitious, Cheetos. Keep it topical -- toss in a rump roast if the mood strikes.
