Incredible. Astonishing. What? Oh my. WOW! Argh. Ooh! Mmm. Har, har, har!
These are among the many outbursts I’ve had while playing Return to Monkey Island. Like many of you, I’m sure, I’ve finished the game. But I’ll never complete my thoughts about it.
We’re still in our ‘spoiling absolutely nothing’ period, so that’s enough about ReMI. If you really want to get into it, check out our forums which include an extremely spoilery sub-forum filled with analysis and nonsense.
Fortunately there are other things happening in the Mojosphere. From leaked Indiana Jones 5 footage to a fantastic Full Throttle box release, there’s plenty to get your teeth stuck into below.
News From All Over
To reemphasize: We're giving it until the Monday after next to post any spoilers for ReMI, and even after that, we'll hide and obscure anything for a good while longer. In other words, The Adventurer is a safe place.
For now:
In a rare circumstance where "finally" can be used properly, the Nicolas Deneschau Monkey Island book will finally be translated into English. The Kickstarter has already blown past its €10,000 goal, with its eyes firmly set on €50k. With sixteen days left, it looks highly plausible. Go see which tier best suits your needs.
Full Throttle is getting the LRG treatment: It's a reasonable $85 for a lot of content.
Jason is posting some Willow and Indy stuff: Here, here, and here.
Craig is talking up a Maniac Mansion something or other, which... Well, we did get ReMI, so maybe this will come to fruition, too?
